Brandon Bachik serves as Co-Founder, Growth & Acquisitions at Legacy Opportunity Fund, where he leads the firm’s deal sourcing, owner outreach, and growth strategy efforts. With over a decade of experience in business operations and management, Brandon has a proven ability to identify value and scale underperforming assets. His background includes the successful acquisition, repositioning, and resale of undervalued mobile home parks, as well as the co-acquisition of more than 1,200 multi-family and single-family assets alongside Dwight Harrison across multiple states. Today, Brandon plays a key role in evaluating service-based businesses for acquisition, consulting partnerships, or growth-focused equity structures — always seeking win-win outcomes. His leadership emphasizes long-term appreciation, operational efficiency, and strategic tax optimization, all aligned with the Fund’s mission to build durable, cash-flowing companies.

John McKay

Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer

John McKay is a seasoned operations executive with over 30 years of leadership across construction and home services sectors. His work spans HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, remodeling, and outdoor living, with a strong focus on driving profitability and operational excellence.
Most recently, John led operational turnarounds and growth initiatives for portfolio companies within a private equity fund, where he consistently identified and scaled undervalued service businesses. Known for his hands-on leadership and ability to build high-performing teams, John creates systems that sustain long-term growth. His strategic focus and cultural alignment make him a valuable asset in scaling essential service companies in competitive, fragmented markets.
